Who We Are

Shaley Howard, Owner

Shaley was born and raised in Portland Oregon and has always been a lover of all animals. In fact there was never a time throughout her life when she hasn’t been surrounded by cats and dogs, not to mention hamsters, guinea pigs or chickens – a little girls dream. After graduating from University of Oregon she started her first business – a mobile coffee business called Café Jumpstart which she ran for a few years before selling it to become a broker in real estate for five years. Although real estate was exciting and challenging what Shaley really wanted was to be around animals and be outside. So she started Scratch N’ Sniff Pet Care in 2006 which turned out to be the perfect career and business for an animal lover and person who absolutely loves the Pacific Northwest!
